COUNTY SIGNS CONTRACT TO BUILD OUR new LIBRARY
Construction on the new Casa de Oro Library is slated to begin sometime in winter 2025, with completion in 2026. EC Constructors Inc. was selected as the design/builder. The new library will be approximately 12,000 sq ft and will include:
2,000 sq ft Community Room with after-hours access for community events
High-speed internet access and Wi-Fi throughout the branch
Study rooms
Teen area with study rooms
Children's area with early-literacy equipment
Patio space
Public computers plus laptops for check-out
Friends of the Library Bookstore
Designated parking lot
